The liquid CO2 decaf process is a natural way to remove the caffeine and keep all the coffee flavors intact. No chemicals, no harsh treatment, just pure smooth coffee. How it worksThe journey of the decaf process starts with soaking the green beans into water. Which helps opening their pores. Once they are prepared, they enter a high-pressure chamber where liquid carbon dioxide works its magic. This CO2 works like a natural magnet, binding the caffeine molecules and lifting them away while leaving the rich coffee flavors untouched. Once the caffeine has been extracted, the CO2 moves to a separate chamber where it releases the caffeine, gets purified and is ready to be used again. Finally, the beans are gently dried, returning to their natural state. Now caffeine free but still packed with flavor. The process is eco-friendly, using recycled CO2 to minimize waste.
